HF 976: Environment & Agriculture Funding

HF 976 takes a step towards restoring the deep cuts to environment funding over the past several years, including $7 million in funding to combat the spread of aquatic invasive species. It also contains better collection mechanisms for carpet, batteries and paint. To better protect the state’s groundwater supply, significant improvements are made to the permitting process for agriculture and large industrial water users.
