Who’s protecting Minnesota’s rural rivers?

Detailed maps show that many farms lack the protective “buffer strip” that keeps agricultural runoff from entering streams and rivers. Without these buffer strips, Minnesota waters are at risk of being degraded by pollutants such as nitrogen and phosphorus.
